ARM ASSEMBLY
The gutter nozzle shall be constructed of not less than #10 gauge and shall be a 16" diameter at the top and taper up 22" intake nozzle. The gutter nozzle shall be attached to the control arm by means of a heavy-duty joint, which shall allow for vertical and lateral movement. The gutter nozzle shall be spring-loaded and shall trip vertically, when coming in contact with an obstruction. Immediately upon clearing the obstruction it shall return to normal operating position. The control arm shall be constructed of 2 1/2" square tubing with wall thickness of 1/4" and shall connect to the operator platform superstructure by means of a heavy duty universal joint.
HYDRAULIC EQUIPMENT
Shall consist of a hydraulic pump mounted to the block of the motor with an SAE A style flange with not less than a 5 gallon per minute gear driven pump. Not less than a 4.8 gallon oil reservoir shall be mounted on the trailer frame between engine and blower housing. The pump shall be connected by a high pressure hose to a flow control valve, and this in return connected to a two section double acting control valve. There shall be two 2" diameter double acting cylinders with 16" chrome plated piston rods. This cylinder shall be attached to the platform superstructure by means of a universal joint and the other end to be attached to the control arm.
